The UK government has introduced a new ETA (electronic travel authorisation) system for non-EU travellers visiting the UK. It's our version of the US ESTA's. Non-British and non-EU Travellers who want to visit the UK must pay a £10 fee which is linked to their passport. This is the next stage of individual countries choosing to set up these type of electrionic entry systems that include a fee for revenue generation for the country.

To visit the USA (and Walt Disney World), we have to submit an ESTA which costs $21 each, and coming in 2025 will be EU's version called ETIAS that we'll have to submit to visit Disneyland Paris.
