Disney Traditions Jim Shore Mickey Mouse Stalwart Soldier
Product 23-Aug-2018
The Disney Traditions collection consists of Disney themed figurines designed by award-winning artist Jim Shore. The collection launched in 2006, and each figurine is hand painted and sculpted in resin.
This Jim Shore Disney Traditions Mickey Mouse figurine is called "Stalwart Soldier". It's Mickey Mouse as the iconic Nutcracker! It is new for the 2018 fall season to coincide with the release of Disney's 2018 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'.
This Mickey figurine is unique compared to most of the other Disney Traditions because it features a traditional nutcracker mechanism. He has a little handle on the back that you can lift up which opens his mouth (as you can see in the photos below).
He's much bigger than he looks in the photos, which is a nice surprise. There's been a few Nutcracker themed Mickey traditions over the years, but this is the first one I've managed to get my hands on and I really like him. He's got a really nice weight to him, so make sure you don't drop him!
