The Disney Traditions collection consists of Disney themed figurines designed by award-winning artist Jim Shore. The collection launched in 2006, and each figurine is hand painted and sculpted in resin.
We're back with a new Jim Shore Disney Traditions figure for this year. He's called "Mickey Takes The Lead". He goes along with the similar styled Donald Duck Road Rage figure. They look great together!
Comparing to the Donald, Mickey's car is a little less aerodynamic. Donald seems much more determined to win, while Mickey's just having a good time. I love how his ears poke out of his driving hat and that his outfit matches the car. While Donald sports more of a fire theme, Mickey is going for the lightning look.
