What Is Disney Adventure World?
If you haven't heard already, Walt Disney Studios Park - the second park at Disneyland Paris - has had a full rebrand and reimagining, and it is now open as Disney Adventure World. The park sits alongside the classic Disneyland Park at the Marne-la-Vallée resort, around 32km east of central Paris. This summer, it's looking like a seriously compelling reason to book a trip to Paris.
Disney Adventure World is divided into distinct themed worlds - World of Frozen, Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, Adventure Way and World Premiere Plaza - each with their own rides, shows, dining and character encounters.

The Worlds Inside Disney Adventure World
World of Frozen
This is the headline addition for 2026 and the big talking point. World of Frozen is a fully immersive land themed around Arendelle which includes snowy architecture, Norse-inspired theming and the full Frozen experience brought to life at scale. The headline attraction is Frozen Ever After, a musical boat ride that takes you through the story of the films. There is no minimum height requirement, so it's a ride for the whole family. For character meet and greets, Elsa and Anna are available through the Rencontre Royale experience. Also new in World of Frozen is the Nordic Crowns Tavern restaurant, and Frozen-themed boutiques including the Arendelle Boutique and Fjord View Shop.
Marvel Avengers Campus
Already established in the park, Marvel Avengers Campus remains one of the most popular areas for older kids, teenagers and adults alike. The headline attractions here are Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, which teams you up with Iron Man and Captain Marvel on a high-speed coaster, and Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, where guests can unleash their inner hero in an action-packed mission alongside Spidey himself - using innovative new tech to sling webs and catch Spider-Bots before they cause total techno-havoc across the Campus. There are also live action Super Hero performances throughout the day, with characters roaming the area and appearing in outdoor shows.
The Hero Training Center meet and greet features Spider-Man and is one of the more popular experiences in the park.
Worlds of Pixar
Home to one of the most beloved attractions in the whole resort, Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy - or Ratatouille: The Adventure, if you'd rather not try pronouncing it - shrinks you down to rat size and sends you on a chase through a Parisian kitchen. It works for all ages. The area also includes Pixar character meet and greets, including the chance to meet Woody, as well as attractions themed around Slinky, the Green Army Men and RC Racer.
Adventure Way
New for the reimagining, Adventure Way is the central promenade connecting the worlds of the park, and it is home to two notable additions. The first is Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family spinning attraction based on Tangled with no height restriction, making it accessible for everyone.
The second - and possibly the most spectacular addition to the whole resort - is the Disney Cascade of Lights, a nighttime show on the lake featuring fireworks, water screen projections and drone choreography. It runs in the evening around the same time as the Disney Tales of Magic show in Disneyland Park, which is worth knowing if you are planning how to split your time across both parks. The Cascade of Lights is included in the price of your park ticket - no extra charge - though a reserved viewing area is available for an additional fee if you want a guaranteed spot.
Also on Adventure Way is The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, which can be booked in advance through the Disneyland Paris app or website and is open to guests with dining plans.
World Premiere Plaza
The park's entry area, World Premiere Plaza is the first thing you see when you walk in and sets the tone for the rest of the day. It functions as a celebration hub where shows and character moments happen throughout the day.
Shows, Characters and Dining
Beyond the rides, Disney Adventure World has a solid entertainment programme. Mickey and the Magician is a long-running indoor stage show that remains popular with families, and TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure covers the Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo universes in a live musical format. The Marvel Avengers Campus outdoor shows happen throughout the day on a rotating schedule.
For dining, the park has options themed around the different worlds - Frozen and Pixar-inspired menus, character dining experiences and food trucks for quicker stops. The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge on Adventure Way is the headline new addition and takes reservations. If you want to eat there, booking in advance is strongly advised - tables at Disney's newer restaurants tend to go quickly, particularly during summer.
Why Book This Summer?
Disney Adventure World has been greatly improved. The World of Frozen land, Frozen Ever After, Raiponce Tangled Spin and Disney Cascade of Lights are all fresh additions that have only recently opened, which means this summer is your first real opportunity to experience the park in its updated form. From a UK perspective, Disneyland Paris also remains one of the more accessible Disney destinations. You can fly from most major UK airports - London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol and Belfast among others - and be in the parks within a few hours. The Eurostar option from London St Pancras to Marne-la-Vallée is also worth considering if you'd rather avoid airports entirely.
Disney also recommends spending at least two days to cover both parks properly - one day for Disneyland Park, one for Disney Adventure World - and multi-day packages typically offer better value than buying single-day tickets separately. Hotel packages that include park tickets also give you automatic access to both parks for the duration of your stay, which removes the need to think too hard about logistics once you're there.
