Alice and the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland returns to Disney Adventure World
Alice and the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland is returning to Disney Adventure World in spring 2027. The show - which blends acrobatics, BMX riding and a pop rock soundtrack with the world of Alice in Wonderland - is coming back for another run following its original run at the park.
The story picks up with Alice returning to Wonderland for what she thinks is a low-key tea party with the Mad Hatter. It is not. The Queen of Hearts has also been invited, and what follows is exactly the kind of chaos you'd expect when those two end up in the same room - only this time with BMX ramps instead of croquet mallets.
What to expect from the show
The production is built around a 68-metre set designed in urban tones, with nods throughout to the original animated film. Acrobats perform trampo-wall (a discipline that combines trampolining with a vertical wall) as the Mome Raths - the small multicoloured creatures from the film - while BMX riders take on the role of the Queen of Hearts' card guards, performing on a nine-ramp course laid out in front of the stage.
Worth noting: like all outdoor or arena shows at the park, performances can be modified, postponed or cancelled due to weather or technical issues without notice - so always check the app on the day.
