Starting January 6th, 2025, three key attractions at Walt Disney World will be closing for refurbishment.
  • The most notable closure is Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom which is now closed until early 2026.
  • Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at EPCOT has also closed and will remain closed for refurbishment until March 15, 2025.
  • Kali River Rapids at Disney's Animal Kingdom is now closed for refurbishment. Although no reopening date has been announced, it's expected to reopen sometime in March 2025.
  • Test Track at EPCOT continues to be closed and is due to reopen late summer 2025.

On this side of the Atlantic Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris has also closed for refurbishment and will reopen in the summer of 2025.
