Nomad Lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom has started taking dining reservations for seatings from 8th November 2026 and available up to 60 days ahead. It has been walk-up only since it opened in 2016, and while a walk-up list remains, UK guests should add it to the dining reservations they make at the 60-day mark, the same as Oga's Cantina at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Nomad Lounge is our favourite place at Animal Kingdom for a sit down and a drink, so this is one change we'll be planning around ourselves. Until 8th November 2026 you could stroll up and wait for a seat. From that date, guests who booked ahead get first claim on the tables.

When Can You Book Nomad Lounge Reservations?

Reservations opened on 28th October 2026, with the first bookable seatings on 8th November 2026. Disney's Nomad Lounge page lists it as "Bar-Lounge, Reservations Accepted" and says reservations can be made up to 60 days before your visit, which is the same window as most Walt Disney World table-service restaurants.

The lounge sits next to Tiffins restaurant and opens at 10:30, with closing times between 18:00 and 20:00 depending on the day during the first week of November 2026. Disney puts it in the $$ price band, $15 to $34.99 per adult, which works out at roughly £11 to £26 each at $1.33 to the pound, or £22 to £52 for a couple.

How To Book A Nomad Lounge Reservation

Booking works the same way as any other Walt Disney World dining reservation, through the My Disney Experience app and Disney's website.

  1. Sign in to the My Disney Experience app or disneyworld.co.uk, with your park tickets or holiday package linked to your account.
  2. Find Nomad Lounge under Disney's Animal Kingdom dining and tap Reserve Dining.
  3. Choose your date, party size and a time from the slots on offer.
  4. Enter the credit card Disney asks for to hold the booking, then confirm.
  5. Check the confirmation email for the cancellation and modification terms.

If you miss out, the Join Walk-Up List button sits right next to Reserve Dining in the app. Disney says walk-up seating and the waitlist depend on capacity.

You'll also need valid admission to Disney's Animal Kingdom, and a theme park reservation may be required depending on your ticket type. If you're still sorting tickets, FloridaTix sells Walt Disney World tickets in pounds, and our Disney World tickets guide for UK guests covers the options.

What Nomad Lounge Reservations Change For UK Guests

Most UK guests visit Walt Disney World for a fortnight and book their dining at the 60-day mark. Nomad Lounge belongs on that list from 8th November 2026, alongside Oga's Cantina at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where booking ahead is recommended but walk-up remains available if there's capacity.

If you're staying at a Disney hotel, including one booked as part of a Disney Holidays package, you can book 60 days before arrival for up to the first 10 days of your stay. That gives you a head start on guests booking day by day.

  • A booked slot means you can plan your Animal Kingdom day around a sit down at a set time.
  • Not turning up, or cancelling outside Disney's policy, means a per-person charge on the card you booked with. The cancellation terms are shown when you book.
  • Walk-ups are still worth a try on quieter days through the app's walk-up list.
  • If you only want a snack, the churros can be ordered to take away through mobile order in the My Disney Experience app.

If your Walt Disney World trip isn't booked yet, the 60-day clock starts from your arrival date, so packages bought further ahead give you the most time to plan dining. Our Disney World offers guide for UK guests rounds up the latest deals.
