The US announced last month that starting in November, us fully vaccinated Brits can travel to the US again. Since then, it was confirmed that the borders would reopen starting November 8th. However, with this news of reopening, our main airline companies are continuing to make cancellations. Here's what we know so far (as of October 17th).
TUI reportedly has cancelled all their 2021 UK to Sanford flights. With flights now resuming in March 2022 to Melbourne. The TUI website now states all holidays until October 31st are cancelled and they don't fly during the winter months. British Airways has cancelled all UK to Orlando flights through 15th November. It's unclear if they're going to reinstate flights cancelled between 8th and 14th.
Virgin were telling customers they intend to start flying starting November 1st. However, some people are reporting their flights up to November 5th have been cancelled. It's likely Virgin will be ready to restart on the 8th.
