The BBC is reporting that President-elect Biden will dismiss one President Trump's final orders as President. The order was to end the travel ban for visitors from much of Europe and Brazil. The current travel ban was due to expire 26th January, 2021.
Mr Biden's spokeswoman has said now is not the time to be easing travel measures, and the President-elect will keep the travel ban in place for the time being.
On the advice of our medical team, the administration does not intend to lift these restrictions on 1/26. In fact, we plan to strengthen public health measures around international travel in order to further mitigate the spread of Covid-19
