Walt Disney World has announced opening (and reopening) dates for key attractions this spring/summer.
Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station - From 26th May 2026
Bluey and Bingo are heading to Disney's Animal Kingdom from 26th May 2026, setting up at Conservation Station as part of the Cool Kids' Summer event and beyond. Once you've hopped off the Wildlife Express Train, there'll be games based on episodes from the show, character meet and greets with Bluey and Bingo, and a section called Jumping Junction where you can find out about animals native to Australia. Good news if you're travelling with younger Bluey fans - less so if you were hoping for a quiet ride on the Wildlife Express.
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin Gets An Upgrade - From 8th April 2026
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom is getting a refresh from 8th April 2026. The ride vehicles have been upgraded, and there's a new character called Buddy - a support bot who guides you through the mission before launch. The interactive targets now light up when hit, the handheld blasters have been improved with an always-on laser, and the end of the ride will now show a photo of your score. So at least now there's photographic evidence when your kids beat you.
Soarin' Around The World Replaced By Soarin' Across America - From 26th May 2026
Soarin' Around The World at EPCOT is being replaced by the Soarin' Across America version from 26th May 2026.
Walt Disney Studios Courtyard Opens at Hollywood Studios - 26th May 2026
The Walt Disney Studios courtyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios will also open on 26th May 2026. Details are limited at this stage but we'll bring you more as we have it.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
While no exact date was given, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom is due to reopen "early May".
