In a new twist to the new and upcoming direct high-speed Brightline train currently under construction, comes the news that there will be a stop near Disney Springs. Originally, this new route - direct from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to the south of Florida- had a stop at Disney Springs. However, due to heavy criticism from multiple local parties, the route was changed and Disney Springs stop was not on the new route. Brightline has now come out and confirmed that there will be a stop near Disney Springs, but it will not be on Disney property. It's not yet clear exactly where this stop will be, or if it's feasible to use when wanting to travel from MCO to Walt Disney World.
In addition to the airport, one new station will be located at the @OCCC & an alternative station will be located near the original Disney Springs site, albeit not on Disney-owned land.
