Orlando Business Journal (paywall) is reporting the company behind the upcoming MCO to Disney Springs super-fast train route, Brightline, has released a more accurate forecast on when the project will begin construction.

Sadly, it's much later than many people have anticipated due to sudden cancellation of the Magical Express service at the end of 2021. In a presentation given to Orange County officials, Brightline said the first phase of the track installation will begin in Q1 2024 and be completed in Q4 2025.

This means it will likely be well into 2026 before this route is available for guests travelling from MCO to Walt Disney World.
