While British Airways doesn't use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets on their London Gatwick to Orlando routes, the issue travellers might be wary about is that British Airways has been using some of their Boeing 777 aircraft to replace a few of these routes, and the 777 jets are what British Airways use on their London Gatwick to Orlando route. It's unclear what 777 routes have been and what will be cut or adjusted while these issues are ongoing. The good news is that British Airways is doing these cancellations months in advance, which we speculate is them trying to get ahead of these issues instead of being forced to have last-minute cancellations some travellers have endured recently.
