British Airways To Purchase $10 Billion Worth Of New Planes To Replenish Long Haul Routes
The aging 777 planes operating from London to Orlando will see replacements in the coming years.

While we enjoyed our service with British Airways - as we outline in our British Airways Economy (World Traveller) Review and British Airways (BA) Premium Economy (World Traveller Plus) Review - the planes are indeed getting tired. The London to Orlando route currently uses, on average, a 25-year-old 777 plane. The delivery of these new aircraft is said to begin in 2028.
