Cirque du Soleil "Drawn To Life" Still Coming To Disney Springs

Disney has released a special "21 Ways to Kick Off 2021 with Magic at Walt Disney World Resort" article. Tucked away at the bottom under #21 says,

21. Get Excited for Even More Magic Later this Year – Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, the new family-friendly attraction coming to the France pavilion in EPCOT, will debut in 2021. And the new Cirque du Soleil show “Drawn to Life,” coming to Disney Springs, will be a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. Keep checking back with us here at the Disney Parks Blog for more details about these experiences and other excitement happening around Walt Disney World in the future!

The company behind Cirque du Soleil filed for creditor protection last June, shutting down all 44 of its shows in March, laying off 95% of its workforce due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was unclear what the future would be. This new article seems to hint that the show will still be coming to Disney Springs, but no opening date has been given.
