Cost Of An ESTA Has Increased From $21 To $40

Following a passing of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (PL 119-21) earlier in the summer, the fee for travellers intending to travel to the United States with an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) has increased from $21 to $40.
Congress, through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (PL 119-21), added the Treasury General Fund fee of no less than $13 and increased the operational fee portion of the ESTA application fee from $4 to no less than $10. The $17 travel promotion fee portion of the ESTA application has not increased.
