Here in the UK, the government are requiring all healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated, but over the in the states, individual companies can set such employee requirements - even though we've not really see that here in the UK.

News 13 is reporting that the Walt Disney Company has come to agreements with the Service Trades Council Union and Actors Equity Association regarding mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for unionised cast members.

Disney will require all cast members represented by the Service Trades Council Union, which represents 30,000 employees (which is about half) at Walt Disney World, to show proof of receiving a COVID vaccination by October 22nd, 2021. Cast members with medical conditions or sincerely held religious beliefs will be eligible to apply for an accommodation through a negotiated process.

Union cast members who do not comply with the vaccine requirement and do not request a legitimate accommodation will not be able to keep their positions.
