Disney Holidays Packages With Manchester Aer Lingus Flights Altered

Following the news that Aer Lingus has stopped selling direct Manchester To Orlando flights comes the news that Disney Holidays (AKA Walt Disney Travel Company International) are now offering alternative flights.

While at the time of writing Aer Lingus hasn't announced the closure of their Manchester base, they have cancelled flights from March 31, 2026, and stopped any new bookings - so it's looking very likely that is what's going on.

If you've booked a Walt Disney World package through Disney Holidays (which we always recommend) that included a direct Aer Lingus flight from Manchester to Orlando, you will soon receive an email letting you about the situation. Disney will be changing your flight to an indirect one from Manchester still, with a change at Dublin. One positive about this change is that you get to clear US customs in Dublin, so when you arrive in the US you can just go straight through without having to go through customs that end. You will be able to change your flight to another direct one (for example, with Virgin Atlantic) however there will likely be change fees and price increases as Virgin flights are generally more expensive.

We can confirm that you will be reaccommodated onto an alternative flight, please note that this may include the indirect Aer Lingus service via Dublin Airport: (MAN > DUB / DUB > MCO). Dublin Airport offers Guests the fantastic, time saving benefit of US pre-clearance services. When you land in Orlando, you land as a local. Simply collect your baggage upon your arrival and let the Magic begin.
While we cannot immediately confirm the exact departure time or flight numbers, please expect an updated invoice detailing your new flights in the coming weeks.
