Disney Princess Cavalcade: Quick Navigation

What Is The Disney Princess Cavalcade?

Disneyland Paris has announced that the Disney Princess Cavalcade is a new procession of themed floats making its way around Adventure Bay, the lake at the heart of Disney Adventure World. It's the latest addition to the park since its reopening in March 2026, joining World of Frozen and the wider Adventure Way expansion. Rather than a traditional walk-past parade, Disneyland Paris is billing this as an interactive experience, with a dance segment built into the middle of the route where selected guests get pulled in to join the Princesses' companions.

When Does The Disney Princess Cavalcade Start?

The cavalcade begins on 24th July 2026 and Disneyland Paris says it will run year round, with several performances a day. Exact daily showtimes will vary and are best checked on the Disneyland Paris app. Entertainment schedules at Disney Adventure World can shift with park hours and seasonal events.

Where Does The Cavalcade Travel At Disney Adventure World?

The route starts in front of what will eventually become the immersive Lion King area, then travels along Adventure Bay to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, before heading back to where it began. You can see the full route and showtimes on the official Disney Princess Cavalcade page. If you want a good spot, arriving early around the starting point or the restaurant end should give you a decent view without needing to fight for space, though we'd always recommend getting there with a bit of time in hand given how popular new entertainment tends to be in its first few weeks.

Which Disney Princesses Feature In The Cavalcade?

Four Princesses each get their own float. Rapunzel's float draws on The Snuggly Duckling tavern from Tangled, Moana's recreates the village of Motunui, Raya's is inspired by the Heart Palace from Raya and the Last Dragon, and Tiana's brings in the festive streets of New Orleans from The Princess and the Frog. Their sidekicks are along for the ride too, with Pascal, Heihei and Pua, Ray, and Tuk Tuk all appearing on their respective floats.

What Happens During The Interactive Segment?

At the midpoint of the route, the cavalcade pauses for what Disneyland Paris describes as an interactive sequence. The Princesses step down from their floats and perform signature moves, Moana leading dance moves inspired by traditional Pacific Islands dance, and Raya demonstrating moves inspired by martial arts. Their companions then invite selected guests to join in and reproduce the choreography alongside them. According to Disneyland Paris, the show has been in development for a year and a half, with 287 rehearsal hours going into it before this week's debut.

How Were The Costumes And Floats Made?

The costumes were designed by Disneyland Paris' own creative costume team and made in France, using colour palettes drawn from each Princess's world. The floats themselves were built by a street art specialist based in Nice. Disneyland Paris has shared some of the numbers behind the detail work, including around 120 metres of fringe handcrafted for Moana's kites, 900 pieces of fabric cut and sewn for the manes on Raya's dragons, 24 hand sculpted and hand painted feathers for Tiana's companions' staffs, and 13 sculpted ducks decorating Rapunzel's float. Two original songs were also written for the cavalcade, recorded between Nashville and Paris.

Is The Disney Marching Band Ending?

Yes. The Disney Marching Band, led by Minnie Mouse, will conclude its regular run once the Disney Princess Cavalcade arrives. Minnie isn't disappearing from Disney Adventure World though, Disneyland Paris says she'll appear in a new Victorian inspired outfit and may occasionally turn up at the West Pavilion for character meet and greets.

What This Means For UK Visitors Booking Disneyland Paris

The timing here is great for UK guests going to Disneyland Paris during the summer holidays. 24th July lands right at the start of the summer holidays for most schools in England. A few things worth keeping in mind if you're planning around this:

  • Expect the area around Adventure Bay and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge to get busier around showtimes, so factor that into any dining or ride plans nearby.
  • If your trip already includes Princess character dining at The Regal View, you may end up seeing more of the Princess line-up than you'd bank on in a single day.
  • Since this replaces the Disney Marching Band's regular slot, don't plan your day around catching that particular show anymore.

If you're weighing up when to go and want to build a trip around seeing the new cavalcade without paying peak summer prices, our Disneyland Paris offers guide for UK guests is worth a look before you book.
