It was reported on social media that there was a collision on the new Disney Skyliner, which resulted in one cabin smashing into another as it came into the station. No major injuries reported, however guests were trapped on the Skyliner for several hours until they were evacuated.

Disney released a statement that said:
"One of the three Disney Skyliner routes experienced an unexpected downtime Saturday evening. As a result, the Skyliner will be closed while we look into the details surrounding this downtime. We apologize for this situation, and we are working with each guest individually regarding impacts to their visit with us."

The Skyliner remains closed (Monday 7th October) and appears to remain closed for the next few days.
