This week Walt Disney World tweaked their dining modification policy. Guests can no longer make modifications to their dining reservations within the 2 hour window before the time their reservation is set for. Previously, you could modify a reservation within the 2 hour cancellation window to try and get around the $10pp fee charge for cancelling within 2 hours or not turning up to reservation. Modifications are no longer allowed in the final 2 hour window and will be treated as a cancellation.

Restaurants offering advance reservations do not allow modifications within 2 hours of the reservation time and most charge a $10 per-person fee to cancel within 2 hours of the reservation time, or if you don't show up for your reservation. Each restaurant's policies are provided when you make your reservation.
