Read on for the full breakdown including what the new prices cost in pounds, how many trips you need before a pass beats Magic Tickets, and how to buy one from the UK.
Most Brits heading to Walt Disney World don't bother with an annual pass at all. They buy a 7 or 14-Day Disney Magic Ticket, which is sold only to UK and Ireland residents and comes with both water parks and Memory Maker on top of park hopping - our Disney Magic Tickets UK guide has the full breakdown. Annual passes still have a loyal UK following though, mostly among people who cross the Atlantic more than once a year and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members, who get access to a cheaper tier.
How Much Has The Disney World Annual Pass Gone Up?
Disney raised the price of all four Walt Disney World annual passes on 6th October 2026, effective immediately. Three of them are restricted to Florida residents or DVC members, so for anyone else - which covers almost every UK visitor - the only option is the Incredi-Pass. That also happens to be the pass with the biggest increase, in both dollars and percentage terms.
| Annual Pass | Who Can Buy It | Old Price | New Price | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Disney Incredi-Pass | All guests, including UK visitors | $1,629 | $1,749 | $120 (7.4%) |
| Disney Sorcerer Pass | Florida residents and eligible DVC members | $1,099 | $1,139 | $40 (3.6%) |
| Disney Pirate Pass | Florida residents only | $869 | $909 | $40 (4.6%) |
| Disney Pixie Dust Pass | Florida residents only | $489 | $499 | $10 (2.0%) |
All prices are before Florida sales tax. Percentages are rounded to one decimal place.

The Incredi-Pass cost $1,449 before the October 2024 increase, then $1,549, then $1,629 from 8th October 2025, and now $1,749. That's $300 more in two years, a 20.7% rise. Disney also offers a monthly payment plan for annual passes, but it's for Florida residents only, so UK buyers pay the full amount up front. If you want a refresher on who can buy which pass, our guide on whether you can buy a Disney World annual pass from the UK goes into more detail.

How Much Does The Incredi-Pass Cost In Pounds?
Disney sells annual passes in US dollars, and that price leaves out Florida sales tax of 6.5%. The two optional add-ons are extra too, at $109 plus tax each for the year. The Water Park and Sports option gets you into Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon plus golf at Disney's Oak Trail, and PhotoPass Downloads gives you unlimited downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos.
Here's what how that works out in pounds, using the mid-market rate of $1.3248 to the pound on 6th October 2026. Everyone aged 3 and over pays the same price, so a family of 4 with two children aged 3 or older pays four times the per-person figure.
| Pass | Before Tax | With 6.5% Tax | Per Person In Pounds | Family Of 4 In Pounds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Incredi-Pass | $1,749 | $1,862.69 | Around £1,406 | Around £5,624 |
| Incredi-Pass with both add-ons | $1,967 | $2,094.86 | Around £1,581 | Around £6,325 |
| Sorcerer Pass (eligible DVC members) | $1,139 | $1,213.04 | Around £916 | Around £3,663 |
| Sorcerer Pass with both add-ons | $1,357 | $1,445.21 | Around £1,091 | Around £4,364 |
Converted at $1.3248 to £1 (mid-market rate, 6th October 2026) and rounded to the nearest pound, with family totals worked out before rounding. Your card provider's exchange rate and any non-sterling transaction fee will change the final figure.

Can UK DVC Members Still Buy The Disney Sorcerer Pass?
Yes. UK-based DVC members can buy the Disney Sorcerer Pass as well as the Incredi-Pass, as long as they're eligible for DVC Membership Extras. Disney's annual passholder page has the full details, although you'll need a VPN connected to a US server to view it from the UK. If you bought your membership resale, check your eligibility.
The Sorcerer Pass went up $40 to $1,139 plus tax. With tax that's $1,213.04, or around £916 per person. Because the Incredi-Pass rose three times as much, the gap between the two has widened to $610 before tax, which is around £490 per person once tax is added. The same Water Park and Sports and PhotoPass Downloads add-ons are available at $109 plus tax each.
There are two catches. Since April 2026, Sorcerer Pass purchases have been limited to the DVC member and immediate family living in the same household, so grandparents or grown-up children at another address would need the Incredi-Pass. The Sorcerer Pass also has blockout dates on select days during holiday periods, so check Disney's admissions calendar for your dates before you buy.

Is A Disney World Annual Pass Cheaper Than A Magic Ticket?
For most UK visitors, no. A 2027 14-Day Disney Magic Ticket costs between £535.56 and £718.08 per adult (ages 10 and over) direct with Disney, depending on the season and start date. Children aged 3 to 9 pay less on a Magic Ticket, at £508.79 to £682.14, whereas an annual pass charges anyone aged 3 and over the full price.
| Option | Cost Per Adult | Water Parks | Photos | Park Reservations | Best Suited For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One 14-Day Magic Ticket | £535.56 to £718.08 | Both included | Memory Maker included | Not needed | One trip a year |
| Two 14-Day Magic Tickets | £1,071.12 to £1,436.16 | Both included | Memory Maker included | Not needed | Two trips a year |
| Incredi-Pass | Around £1,406 | Not included | Not included | Needed, up to 5 at a time | Three or more trips a year if you skip water parks and photos |
| Incredi-Pass with both add-ons | Around £1,581 | Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon | PhotoPass Downloads | Needed, up to 5 at a time | Three or more 14-day trips within a year |
| Sorcerer Pass with both add-ons (DVC only) | Around £1,091 | Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon | PhotoPass Downloads | Needed, up to 5 at a time | DVC members making two trips outside blockout dates and away from the cheapest value-season dates |
Magic Ticket prices are 2027 adult prices direct with Disney, checked in October 2026, and vary by season and start date. Annual pass prices include 6.5% Florida sales tax, converted at $1.3248 to £1 on 6th October 2026.
Two 14-Day Magic Tickets come to £1,071.12 to £1,436.16, so even two peak-season trips cost less than the fully loaded Incredi-Pass at around £1,581. The base Incredi-Pass at around £1,406 is around £30 cheaper than two of the most expensive peak-season Magic Tickets, but that's without any water parks or photos, and it's around £335 more than two of the cheapest value-season ones. The pass only pulls ahead on a third 14-day trip, where three Magic Tickets cost at least £1,606.68 - around £25 more than the fully loaded pass. An annual pass is valid for a year from the first time you use it to enter a park, so all three trips need to fit inside that window.
For UK DVC members the maths is much closer. A Sorcerer Pass with both add-ons comes to around £1,091, which is up to around £345 less than two peak-season Magic Tickets but around £20 more than two of the cheapest value-season ones. Add in blockout dates and park reservations, and it only makes sense if both trips avoid the blockout periods and aren't both booked on the cheapest value-season dates.
Those figures only cover getting through the gates. Annual passholders also get up to 20% off select merchandise and savings on select dining, which Magic Tickets don't come with, so if you were going to spend money on Disney meals and souvenirs anyway, the discounts can claw back some of the extra cost.

Why Park Reservations Make Annual Passes Harder For UK Trips
Disney Magic Tickets don't need park reservations, so you can decide which park you fancy over breakfast. Annual passes do. Every pass needs an advance park reservation, and the Incredi-Pass and Sorcerer Pass can each hold up to five at a time on a rolling basis.
On a typical two-week UK trip, that means booking your first five park days, then adding another each time one is used up. You're relying on there still being availability for the later days of your holiday, which can add some friction to your trip.

How To Buy A Disney World Annual Pass From The UK
Disney's website blocks UK visitors from buying annual passes, so to buy one before you fly you'll need a VPN (virtual private network). It routes your connection through a server in another country, so the website thinks you're browsing from the US. Our guide on using a VPN to make Walt Disney World bookings covers it in more detail.
The main thing is to avoid free VPNs, because you'll be typing in card details and a paid service from a known provider is a much safer bet. I use Proton VPN myself, and ExpressVPN and Nord VPN are both solid alternatives.
- Sign up to one of the paid VPNs above and install its app on your computer or phone.
- Open the VPN and connect to any server in the US.
- With the VPN still connected, go to Disney's annual passholder page, choose the Incredi-Pass (or the Sorcerer Pass if you're an eligible DVC member) and select how many passes you need.
- Add the Water Park and Sports option or PhotoPass Downloads if you want them, then pay. Unless your card has no foreign transaction fees, your bank will add its own charge on top of the dollar price.
- Link your pass to your My Disney Experience account and book your park reservations, keeping in mind you can only hold five at a time.

Buying An Annual Pass In Person At Walt Disney World
You can also buy a pass in person at a theme park ticket window once you're in Florida. Disney says pass numbers are limited and passes may become unavailable at any time, so it's not something to rely on if your whole trip is planned around having one.
Can You Still Upgrade A Magic Ticket To An Annual Pass?
No. Upgrading a UK Magic Ticket in the My Disney Experience app used to be the easiest way for Brits to get an annual pass, with the value of the ticket knocked off the pass price. A Cast Member confirmed via planDisney in January 2025 that UK 7 and 14-Day Disney Magic Tickets can no longer be upgraded, so if you want a pass you'll need to buy it separately.
Should UK Visitors Buy A Disney World Annual Pass After The Price Rise?
For a typical UK family doing one or two trips a year, the price rise makes the decision easier, and Magic Tickets win. Here's how the 6th October 2026 change plays out for everyone else.
- Planning three or more 14-day trips within a year? The fully loaded Incredi-Pass at around £1,581 still beats three Magic Tickets, which start at £1,606.68 per adult.
- DVC members visiting twice a year outside the blockout dates will find the Sorcerer Pass with both add-ons cheaper than two Magic Tickets, by up to around £345 per adult, unless both trips fall on the cheapest value-season dates.
- There's nothing to gain by waiting for prices to come down, as the new prices are already live and Disney has raised the Incredi-Pass every October.
- Existing passholders should check their renewal price in My Disney Experience before assuming the new headline price applies to them.

Do Walt Disney World annual passholders need park reservations?
Yes. Annual passholders need an advance park reservation, and the Incredi-Pass can hold up to five at a time on a rolling basis. Disney Magic Tickets do not need park reservations.
Can I buy a Walt Disney World annual pass online from the UK?
Yes, but you need a VPN connected to a US server, as Disney's website blocks UK visitors from buying annual passes. You can also buy one in person at a Walt Disney World theme park ticket window, although Disney says passes may become unavailable at any time.
