When Is The Disney Halloween Festival 2026 At Disneyland Paris?
Disneyland Paris has confirmed to us its Disney Halloween Festival will run from 26th September to 1st November 2026, spanning over five weeks. The festival transforms Disneyland Park with new decorations from Main Street, U.S.A. through to Sleeping Beauty Castle, and extends into the Disney Hotels, where each property picks up its own autumn theming drawn from Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories.
Every day of the run comes with the same character line-up and decor, but 31st October gets its own separate programme with extended hours, which we've covered in detail further down this guide.
What's New For Halloween 2026 At Disneyland Paris?
The headline change for 2026 is a costume refresh for the core four. Mickey appears as a mystical count and Minnie as a little witch at the park entrance, while Donald turns up as a vampire and Daisy as a bat lady, each of the four wearing a matching brooch with a different coloured gem.
Main Street, U.S.A. gets the bulk of the new physical decor: around 40 new pumpkins, 170 new candles styled after Mickey and friends, and garlands inspired by Victorian design, all set against a new original musical score and nighttime projections along the street. The station itself picks up four new Art Deco stained-glass windows featuring Maleficent and Ursula, while Town Square gets pumpkins carved as Mickey and Minnie alongside candles shaped like Donald and Goofy. New banners along Main Street reveal Disney Villains in shadow-puppet silhouettes, leading up to Royal Castle Stage, where new gates covered in thorns and ravens complete the effect.
Over in Frontierland, the area around Casa de Coco - Restaurante de Familia takes on a Dia de los Muertos theme with Mexican-inspired decorations, sitting alongside the returning Unlucky Nugget Saloon takeover covered below.

Which Disney Villains Are At Disneyland Paris For Halloween 2026?
Confirmed villains for the 2026 season include Cruella, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Dr Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, alongside the returning double act of Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Stitch also joins the seasonal line-up dressed in a vampire outfit at the Casey Corner Gazebo.

The main event for character fans is the return of Mickey's Halloween Celebration, the cavalcade that runs through the heart of Disneyland Park. It's made up of four floats, opening with Daisy Duck and including rarer appearances from Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar alongside the wider cast of Disney Characters. The floats are dressed with pumpkins, lanterns and hay bales, and the whole thing closes with Mickey aboard his Manor of Illusions float, which is built around rapid costume changes and stage illusions.

What's New At The Unlucky Nugget Saloon In 2026?
Following what Disneyland Paris describes as a strong debut in 2025, The Unlucky Nugget Saloon returns as the Phantom Manor inspired reimagining of The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland, and it's expanding for 2026. The takeover now covers a larger area, stretching to Last Chance Cafe and the popcorn kiosk opposite the saloon, and for the first time it extends upstairs to the restaurant's first floor with new decor and artwork inspired by Phantom Manor's portraits.
Thomas Levert, Show Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, said the team wanted to "keep enriching the story for guests who already enjoyed The Unlucky Nugget Saloon last year," adding new lighting and sound effects along with "an abandoned guestbook containing messages from mysterious people, perhaps recognisable ones, addressed to the bride-to-be."

The centrepiece is a resin wedding cake that took around 40 hours to make and paint, displayed on the saloon's stage as if cut from the cake made for Melanie Ravenswood and her intended husband. Isabelle Soltys, Producer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, said it's "one of the most iconic features of The Unlucky Nugget Saloon," and inspired a new dessert from the resort's pastry chefs designed to give guests "the illusion that they are being served a real piece of the cake." Emmanuel Onillon, Executive Chef at Disneyland Paris, added that the food and drink menu was developed specifically "so guests can enjoy a fully immersive experience in the story of the Ravenswood family," including a new popcorn box styled on Phantom Manor's wallpaper and filled with popcorn topped with Cheetos.
Last Chance Cafe joins in too, dressed with weathered "Celebrating the Ravenswoods" bunting left over from a wedding that never took place, along with ghostly voices playing through the venue.
Where Are The Best Halloween Photo Spots At Disneyland Paris?
If you're after unique photos, Disneyland Paris has pointed to five spots worth checking out.
- The haunted ruins set up at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, with or without a Disney Villain alongside you.
- Skull Rock on Adventure Isle in Adventureland, a longstanding favourite for group photos.
- The Casey Corner Gazebo on Main Street, U.S.A., where Stitch appears in his vampire outfit.
- The Art Deco stained-glass windows at Main Street Station, best photographed early in the day before the crowds build.
- A quieter corner of Frontierland, away from the main thoroughfare, for a moodier shot.
What Halloween Food And Merchandise Is New For 2026?
Beyond the Unlucky Nugget Saloon's own menu, other restaurants across the parks are adding Halloween specials for the run. Market House Deli has the Devilish Brookie, while Victoria's Home-Style Restaurant is serving an Ursula's Curse Cake, both part of a wider range of dishes inspired by Mischief Makers and Disney Villains. On the shopping side, a seasonal collection includes a Pumpkin Mickey shoulder plush among the souvenir range.
Can I Wear A Costume To Disneyland Paris?
Yes, but only on 31st October 2026. This is the only opportunity of the year for guests of all ages to visit in costume. Outside of that single day, general costume wearing isn't part of the standard admission terms. If you're planning to dress up, it's worth checking Disneyland Paris's own guidance.
Does Halloween 2026 Overlap With UK October Half Term?
Yes. Most English councils have set October half term for the week of 26th to 30th October 2026, which lands right inside the closing stretch of the festival, taking in the run up to Halloween night on the 31st and the festival's final day on 1st November. If travelling by train from the UK, keep in mind there's no direct Eurostar service to Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy. The route is Eurostar from London St Pancras to Lille Europe, followed by a connecting TGV to Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy. If you'd rather have transport, hotel and tickets bundled together, Disney Holidays packages cover that route as part of the booking.
Because half term demand tends to push both flight and package prices up across the board, it's worth comparing dates either side of that week if your half term is flexible. Our pricing calendar for finding the cheapest Disneyland Paris dates is a quick way to see where the cost difference sits before you commit to booking inside half term itself.

So What Should UK Visitors Do Next?
With the dates and detail now confirmed, here's what that means for anyone wanting to visit.
- If a costumed visit is the goal, 31st October is the only date that works, so build the itinerary around that day specifically.
- The festival's final week overlaps with the busiest week of UK October half term, so tickets, hotels and dining bookings for that period are worth sorting as soon as possible.
- Guests wanting a quieter visit without half term or Halloween night crowds might get more value from late September or early October instead.
