TUI have been sending emails to customers who have Florida holidays booked in March and April of 2022 telling them their holidays have been cancelled. TUI have since been telling customers it's not just a result of COVID restrictions, but the appetite to visit Orlando is less, so it's not viable to operate flights until the Spring of 2022. It appears that Florida holidays up until mid-April are being cancelled on TUI packages with TUI flights. If you have a booked a holiday though TUI and have Virgin flights, your holiday will continue to go ahead.
We are constantly reviewing our flying programme with TUl airways and not all cancellations are resulting from covid related border/ travel restrictions. I'm afraid the appetite to visit Orlando this winter is less than previous years, which is a result of park restrictions etc at Walt Disney World and other theme parks, so it's made it less viable as a tour operator to operate flights to and from this destination, hence why the as a tour operator to operate flights to and from this destination, hence why the decision has been made to look at restarting this route in the spring of 2022. If your holiday is cancelled/altered by us, then we'd contact you directly to discuss the options available.
TUI offer! You can book your TUI Florida holiday for summer of 2022 and beyond and get £200 off using code BF200.
