Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 Dates Announced

Disney has confirmed the 2026 dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom - the separate ticketed Halloween event that takes over the park on select evenings from August through to Halloween night itself.

If you're planning a Walt Disney World trip this autumn and want to make the most of it, here's everything confirmed so far. Check availability and prices for Walt Disney World here.

What Is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a ticketed evening event held at Magic Kingdom on specific dates. Your standard park ticket does not cover it - you need a separate party ticket, though party guests can enter Magic Kingdom from 4:00 PM, a few hours before the event officially starts at 7:00 PM, which gives you up to eight hours in the park all told. The event includes exclusive entertainment, trick-or-treating, character meet-and-greets, a dedicated parade and fireworks show, themed food and drinks, and exclusive merchandise. Costumes are encouraged, and there are guidelines to follow - adults can dress up too.

What's On at the Party in 2026

New This Year - Stitch's Dance Party

New for 2026, Stitch is hosting a dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, with Lilo and Angel in tow. The theme apparently changes throughout the night based on whatever Stitch pulls out of Lilo's Costume Trunk, which sounds either chaotic or charming - possibly both.

Returning: The Cadaver Dans

The Cadaver Dans - a barbershop quartet with a Halloween twist - are back for another year of close-harmony eeriness. A crowd favourite worth catching if you haven't before.

Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

The dedicated Halloween parade runs at 8:15 PM. It features Mickey, Minnie and various Disney characters in Halloween costumes, alongside ghosts, villains and Disney Princesses. The Headless Horseman also makes an appearance before the parade begins, which tends to be one of those moments that catches people off guard in the best way.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The Sanderson Sisters - Winifred, Sarah and Mary from Hocus Pocus - take the Castle Forecourt Stage and attempt to cast a spell with help from Disney Villains including Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier and the Evil Queen. The audience gets involved too. It's been a consistent highlight of the event for years.

Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks

Jack Skellington narrates a Halloween fireworks show over Cinderella Castle, complete with projections that transform the castle and appearances from Ursula, the Queen of Hearts and Oogie Boogie. It runs later in the evening as the party winds towards midnight.

Trick-or-Treating

There are over a dozen candy stops around Magic Kingdom, all marked on the party map. Cast members hand out Mars Wrigley sweets - M&Ms, Snickers, Starburst and the like. Treat bags are provided to all guests, including adults, so no need to pack your own pumpkin bucket. You don't have to be in costume to collect candy.

Character Meet-and-Greets

MNSSHP features exclusive character experiences not available during standard park hours. Confirmed so far: Jack Skellington and Sally, Mickey and Minnie together in Halloween costumes at Town Square Theater, Pooh in his bumblebee outfit, and festive royal couples including Ariel and Eric, and Aladdin and Jasmine. Disney Villains are also said to appear around the park in a more spontaneous capacity.

Full character line-up details are still to be confirmed.

Food, Merchandise and Ride Overlays

Themed food and drink, exclusive merchandise and Halloween overlays on select attractions are all part of the event. Specific details haven't been released yet - Disney tends to drip these out closer to the first party date, so worth keeping an eye on for updates.
