MuppetVision 3D To Permanently Close To Make Way For Monsters Inc. Land

MuppetVision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be permanently closing.

Since Disney announced Monsters, Inc. Land for Disney's Hollywood Studios it wasn't made clear where it was going to go. There was 2 concept arts released, one appearing to look like it replacing MuppetVision 3D and the other Star Wars Launch Bay Area. To everyone's surprise, it seems that it will be located in the Muppets Courtyard, replacing MuppetVision 3D. The MuppetVision 3D theatre will be replaced with a new Monsters Inc-themed show. Disney has not yet announced when MuppetVision 3D will close, however construction is set to start in 2025.

Muppets will not be gone completely though, as Rock 'N' Rollercoaster will be re-themed to the Muppets.
