Disney Village - the shopping and dining area you walk through on the way to Disneyland Paris - has been going through a pretty significant overhaul in recent years, and 2026 is bringing a fresh batch of additions. Three new openings have been announced between now and the end of the year: a football store, a new Disney merchandise shop and an Italian restaurant.
Here's what's coming, when, and whether it's worth getting excited about.
Pelé Soccer - a new football store at Disney Village
The first opening to land is Pelé Soccer, arriving at the end of May next to the Sports Bar & Lounge. The brand - which celebrates the career of Brazilian football legend Pelé - already has stores in New York, Disney Springs at Walt Disney World in Florida, and Downtown Disney at Disneyland in California. This will be its first European location, which is a bit of a coup for Disneyland Paris.
The store will stock exclusive football shirts, accessories, vintage-inspired merchandise and more. If you or someone you're travelling with has any interest in football, this one is probably worth a look - particularly given that Disney Springs' version has developed something of a reputation for its range of shirts that you won't find on the high street.

From summer 2026, Disney Wonders will replace the existing shopping experience with something rather more theatrical. The store will be split into themed areas covering Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel, designed to feel immersive rather than just a standard shop floor.
Two large central chandeliers will each display 40 pieces of artwork featuring iconic characters and locations, and the exterior will be decorated with original artwork. The checkouts will also showcase classic Disney animation scenes - some of which will apparently be brought to life with a Tinkerbell effect. Whether that's genuinely charming or slightly overwhelming probably depends on how much caffeine you've had, but it sounds like a significant step up from a standard gift shop.
The concept is designed to evolve with the seasons too, with new products and elements added throughout the year - which gives repeat visitors a reason to check back in.
Casa Giulia - Italian restaurant coming to Disney Village
Rounding out the 2026 announcements is Casa Giulia, an Italian restaurant operated by Bertrand Hospitality due to open at the end of the year. It's a two-storey setup with an outdoor terrace seating 120, serving seasonal Italian classics - think the kind of menu that rotates properly rather than just listing pasta in four different shapes year-round.
Alongside the main restaurant, there'll be a fast-casual offshoot called Giulia Express, offering pizza by the slice, focaccia, Italian pastries and ice cream from its own indoor counter and a separate 40-seat outdoor terrace. That second option will come in particularly handy if you want a quick lunch without committing to a full sit-down meal.
Disney Village's restaurant offering has historically been a bit hit-and-miss, so a decent Italian with a proper seasonal menu is a welcome addition - assuming the execution matches the concept.
Planning your visit around the new openings
If you want to catch all three new openings, you'll need to visit from the end of 2026 onwards. For the Pelé Soccer store, late May onwards works. Disney Wonders opens in summer, and Casa Giulia is due at the end of the year.
In the meantime, Disney Village already has outdoor terrace options at the Sports Bar & Lounge, Royal Pub, EARL of Sandwich and Petite Rosalie - all decent enough spots to make the most of warmer weather while you wait for the new additions.
