New Stricter Orlando International Airport Security Procedures

The TSA recently announced some security changes at Orlando International Airport, and they seem to be going into effect now. What is changing is that ALL electronic devices (including and not limited to, tablets/iPads, computers, laptops, cameras, game consoles) that are bigger than a mobile phone need to be put into their own tray. So you could be having quite a few trays all by yourself. What's also changed is they are asking if you are taking on any food (includes chocolate and candy), as they'll want to do security checks on that, too.

They have advised you arrive an extra 20 minutes earlier (so 3 hours and 20 minutes now for us, technically), due to the extra backlog of people this will create going through security. If you've already got transfers booked and worried about timing, you should get in contact with your travel agent for advice and find out if any action is necessary.
