Walt Disney World has begun to debut new Disney buses with an updated design with new accessibility equipment and foldable seats. The new equipment is designed to speed up the time it takes to load mobility scooters and wheelchairs into the buses. With the front seats folded up by default, it allows more room for scooters and wheelchairs to manoeuvre when getting on and off the bus. The front seats are folded by default but can be used by any guest, but they remain the priority for people with disabilities and the elderly, just like those front seats on the old buses. I can also confirm they have that delicious new car/bus smell.
Update 29/4/2024: Since reporting on these new bus designs, Disney has officially announced that they'll be 90 of these new buses added to the fleet (replacing older ones), with 30 already in rotation. he main feature of these new buses is better accessibility features like more space for scooters/wheelchairs and fold-up seats. All the busses will have Wifi and there are USB plugs beneath the seats, too. These buses will include new external designs as well including characters like Figment, Chip 'n' Dale, and more.
