Orlando International Airport (MCO) will open their brand new terminal - Terminal C - towards the end of September 2022. Airlines flying from the UK have already announced they'll be landing at this new terminal, those airlines are Aer Lingus & British Airways. So if you're flying with either of those airlines starting September 2022, you'll be landing/taking off from the new Terminal C.
Terminal C will be connected by the peoplemover system to Terminal A & B (as most coach services currently operate from those older terminals, but this could very well change). Terminal C will be home to 24 Food & Beverage Locations & 12 Retail Locations. What's new for this terminal, is that it will have a "Bags First" experience. That means that you collect your luggage before you head through passport control, where biometric technology will confirm identity and documentation, improving efficiency, safety and convenience during the arrivals process.
Terminal C will also be home to a new train station that'll host the upcoming high-speed Brightline service. The Brightline train will transport travellers through to Miami, with stops outside Disney Springs and Universal Orlando (exact stop locations yet to be confirmed). Mears Connect and other shuttle companies plan on having stops at this new terminal- to be confirmed at a later date. The map of this new terminal is below.
