The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) - has announced an investment of $2.2 billion to help the parking and traffic issues at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The project will focus on building a brand new separate rental car facility which will free up around 5,000 parking spaces in the existing parking garages. This will result in more parking spaces as well as reduce curb-side congestion and improve overall road safety. This will be a long-term project and will not likely be completed for a few years.
