Plaza Gardens Restaurant - the Victorian character buffet restaurant in Disneyland Park, Disneyland Paris - closed in April 2026 for a full renovation, with a reopening planned for early 2027. The closure covers a complete overhaul of the flooring, facades and roofing, alongside a refreshed colour palette inside and out. Walt Disney Imagineering Paris has gone for various shades of green throughout - a nod to the gardens the restaurant sits alongside - with new pastel green tiling paired with a dark green floral carpet inside the dining room.

The seating layout is also being reconfigured, with 291 chairs (most reupholstered) and 40 redesigned banquettes. The buffet area is getting a family-friendly update too, including a lower-height section for children and new breakfast furniture.

Finer details getting attention include restored stained-glass canopies, refurbished bronze and brass light fittings upgraded to LED, and new carved wooden elements around the buffet. The aim, according to Principal Show Designer Stéphanie Bohnhoff, is to modernise without losing the character that makes the restaurant worth visiting in the first place. More details are expected as the renovation progresses.
