A closure notice was posted on Disney's official Rose & Crown Dining Room page on 13th October 2026, and the same wording appears on the Rose & Crown Pub page. Disney calls it planned maintenance and hasn't said what work is being carried out or how long it will take.
When Do The Rose & Crown Dining Room And Pub Close?
Both close from 11th January 2027, which makes 10th January 2027 the last day you can expect to visit before the work starts. Here's Disney's notice in full.
"Starting January 11, 2027, the Rose & Crown Dining Room and Rose & Crown Pub will be temporarily closed for planned maintenance. Both locations are expected to reopen later in 2027."

The pub and the restaurant share the same building on the lagoon side of the UK pavilion. Keep in mind that the notice says nothing about Yorkshire County Fish Shop, the fish and chips counter on the side of that building.
If your holiday finishes before 11th January 2027, you can still get a table. Disney opens dining reservations 60 days ahead, so on 13th October 2026 you can book up to 12th December 2026, and 10th January 2027 becomes bookable on 11th November 2026. So if you're heading out for Christmas or New Year and want one last plate of bangers and mash before they close, you can.

What Is The Rose & Crown At EPCOT?
The Rose & Crown sits in the UK pavilion of World Showcase and it's been there since EPCOT opened on 1st October 1982. Imagineers based its look on Victorian, Dickensian, seaside and country pubs, so it looks a bit like several pubs have been knocked through into one. The pub is at the front, with a curved wooden bar that looks like pubs back at home, while the Dining Room sits behind it with indoor tables and a patio overlooking World Showcase Lagoon.
On the Dining Room menu you'll find British staples such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, cottage pie and tikka masala, with sticky toffee pudding for afters. Disney puts the average adult dinner main between $15 and $34.99, so two adult mains come to roughly $30 to $70, with drinks, tax and the tip on top. The Dining Room accepts the Disney Dining Plan, while the pub doesn't.

What Beers Does The Rose & Crown Pub Serve?
The pub pours a mix of British and Irish beers, with Harp Lager, Old Speckled Hen and Guinness on the current menu alongside cocktails such as a Pimm's Cup and a range of whisky flights.
Fan-favourite Smithwick's, which was on the pub menu in 2025, has since been swapped for Sullivan's Maltings Irish Ale. In my opinion - and the opinion of the cast and guests we talk to while in there - it's a major step down from the Smithwick's it replaced, so we're hoping it comes back.
What Does The Rose & Crown Closure Mean For Your Disney World Trip?
One closed pub isn't a reason to change your holiday, but it will affect your EPCOT dining if you were counting on eating there.
- Travelling before 11th January 2027 means you can still book the Dining Room and drop into the pub as normal
- Travelling on or after 11th January 2027 means neither will be open, and with no reopening date, the closure could run for months
- Disney Dining Plan users lose a table-service option in World Showcase until the Dining Room reopens
- Yorkshire County Fish Shop isn't mentioned in Disney's notice, so check Disney's website before relying on it for your fish and chips
