Splash Mountain Retheming To Princess And The Frog "Will Take Some Time"

Back in June 2022, Disney announced Splash Mountain will be rethemed to Princess and the Frog. No obvious progress has yet been made on the project, but Vice President of the Magic Kingdom, Melissa Valiquette, sat down with the Orlando Sentinel (VPN required) and was asked about this project. She confirmed the retheming was still in development, but it's going to "take some time" before we see the change. This is good news for British fans of this attraction as they might be able to enjoy it in its former glory for the last time during the 50th celebrations in 2022.
