Splash Mountain To Close January 23rd 2023 To Make Way For Princess And The Frog Overlay

Disney has announced today that the beloved Splash Mountain attraction will be closing on January 2rd, 2023. Throughout the 2023 and an unannounced period of time in 2024, the Splash Mountain theme will be replaced with a Princess and the Frog overlay.

In Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you'll join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis during Mardi Gras season as they prepare to host a one-of-a-kind celebration for the people of New Orleans.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure will be opening at some point during 2024.
