Toy Story 5's Lilypad Joins Alien Swirling Saucers Ride

Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios is getting a new soundtrack and a new character from Friday 25th September 2026. Lilypad, the frog-shaped smart tablet from Toy Story 5, joins Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear in Andy's backyard, DJing an all-new lineup of remixed classics and original songs called Lilypad's Jams. You don't need to ride the attraction to join in, since Lilypad brings entertainment to the whole backyard area whether you're queuing, riding, or just passing through.

What's New At Alien Swirling Saucers?

Disney Imagineers have refreshed the soundtrack at Alien Swirling Saucers, the spinning ride in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, to tie in with the release of Toy Story 5. From Friday 25th September 2026, Lilypad takes over as DJ for a new lineup called Lilypad's Jams, playing across the attraction and the surrounding backyard area. Imagineers travelled to Nashville to record the new soundtrack with musicians working across pop, country, EDM and alt-rock.

Who Is Lilypad In Toy Story 5?

Lilypad is a frog-shaped smart tablet who arrives as a gift for Bonnie in Toy Story 5, and quickly becomes the toy box's biggest disruption since Andy discovered video games. She's voiced by actress Greta Lee. Lilypad using her tech to remix music and pull other toys into her set, including a bigger moment in the spotlight for Partysaurus Rex. Toy Story 5 opened in cinemas on 19th June 2026 and has passed $1.1 billion at the worldwide box office, and it starts streaming on Disney+ from 23rd September 2026, just two days before Lilypad's Jams launches at Hollywood Studios.

What Songs Are In Lilypad's Jams?

The new soundtrack blends reimagined Toy Story favourites with songs written specifically for the attraction. Disney has confirmed the following tracks feature in the lineup.

• Reimagined versions of "You've Got a Friend in Me", "We Belong Together" and "I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away"
• A new original song called "Pizza Planet Promo", styled as an in-story advert for the pizza arcade
• A new original song called "Spin It Back, Lilypad", written as a tribute to the newest toy in the backyard

Whether you're riding or not, here's how to catch the new entertainment during your visit.

1. Head to Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios and head towards Alien Swirling Saucers.
2. If you want to ride, join the standby queue or reserve a Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the attraction, since there's no Individual Lightning Lane or single rider line here.
3. If you're skipping the ride, stick around the area anyway, since Lilypad's offboard entertainment plays there regardless of whether you board a saucer.
4. Join in with the games on offer, including guessing which toy Lilypad is doodling on her drawing app, helping her unscramble puzzles, and watching her "home videos" of familiar Toy Story characters.
5. Keep an ear out for the new tracks both in the queue and on the ride itself, since the reimagined classics and original songs run throughout the whole set.

Do I Have To Ride To See Lilypad?

No. Lilypad is DJing for the whole backyard, not just for riders. Disney has been clear that offboard guests can sing along, watch DJ Lily introduce tracks, and take part in the interactive games without ever getting in the queue.
