On the cusp of announcing that starting in 2020 TUI will be scheduling a second weekly flight to Sanford from Bristol, comes the news that starting in 2022, TUI will no longer be using Sanford International Airport as their destination airport in Orlando.

All flights starting in 2022 will travel to Orlando Melbourne International Airport instead of Sanford International Airport. Melbourne airport is over 80 miles away from Walt Disney World. For reference, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 13 miles away, and Sanford is 29 miles away.

While this will give better access to the popular cruises, this will add even more travel time to your journey if you choose to fly with TUI starting in 2022 and visiting Orlando's theme parks.
