The White House this month announced that the US will reopen borders to fully vaccinated adults starting November 8th, 2021, after 18+ months of being closed. Our British airlines have been cancelling flights to Orlando until this news hit, but now the official reopening announcement has been made, here is what our airlines current plans are for the restarting of UK to Orlando flights.
TUI have cancelled all their UK to Sanford (Orlando) flights for the rest of 2021. TUI don't tend to have routes in the winter anyway, but you will no longer fly to Sanford through TUI, as they will restart their flights in March 2022 to flights to Melbourne (Orlando). (Reminder: TUI Flying To Melbourne Instead Of Sanford Starting 2022.)
Virgin have cancelled all their UK to Orlando (MCO) flights through November 7th. They will restart their route from London, Heathrow to Orlando starting 8th November, 2021.
British Airways (BA) have cancelled all their UK to Orlando (MCO) flights through November 14th. They will restart their route from London Gatwick & Heathrow to Orlando starting 15th November, 2021.
