I'll say upfront this review will be unhelpful to vegetarians. Morimoto Asia has been at Disney Springs for a good few years now but I've always found it somewhat intimidating. However, I saw a photo on social media of a beautiful-looking duck that was being served there. I looked on their menu and indeed found the Morimoto Peking Duck. It's described as a carved house-roasted whole duck, served with steamed flour tortillas, apricot sweet chilli, hoisin miso and choice of steamed white or brown rice, priced at $72. I'm summary:
Absolutely outrageously good whole Peking duck. Never had a duck that quality in my life
Server was knowledgeable and attentive
Lovely atmosphere and decor
It's pricey but my oh my what a delicious bird
The restaurant is lovely inside and features beautiful artwork and design features, although it is quite loud. A few of the tables are quite squashed together, but there's plenty of seating variety. We sat upstairs.
We ordered some drinks and also the Pork Dumplings to try. They were tasty but I wouldn't say they were the best dumplings I've had.
You get a whole Morimoto Peking Duck. They have them in the ovens on display downstairs. However, it is carved and plated for you. It comes with the freshest and soft flour tortillas I think I've ever had- they were so good.
The tortillas, rice, and duck are brought out to your table.
She smelled as good as she looks. This was an outrageously delicious and well-cooked duck. I've never had duck this good in my life.
Morimoto Asia surprisingly ended up in our top 3 meals this trip, which was completely unexpected. The duck was out of this world and I cannot recommend it enough. Although keep in mind, they only have so many to sell each night. We apparently had the last one of the night and the table next to us was very sad they couldn't have one. Take a look over the menu and see if there's any you fancy in advance because it's a really nice restaurant worth experiencing.

Mickey From The UK Review Policy
Our reviews are based on our own visits, our own experience and our own money unless we say otherwise. We're honest with both the good and the not-so-good. When that happens, the aim isn't to put you off Disney - it's to point you towards a better option, whether that's a different restaurant, hotel or experience. We want your time and money going towards the parts of the trip that will make it even better - which is good for you, and good for Disney too.
