There are benefits you get staying at a Walt Disney World hotel hotels such as free transportation (bus, boat, monorail, Disney Skyliner) and Early Entry into the parks. If you stay at any of the deluxe hotels, on select nights one of the four theme parks will stay open for up to 2 hours just for deluxe resort guests.
Prices can vary for each hotel, so it's best to search rooms through Disney directly to get an idea of how much each of the hotels cost on the dates you're looking to book. If you're struggling to narrow down your choice, we'll share with you our top 5 recommended Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
#5 - Disney's All-Star Movies

Disney's All-Star Resorts are the lowest-cost Walt Disney World Resort hotels. There are three all situated next to each other. One themed to movies, one to music, and one to sports. These are standard "Premier Inn" type rooms. The rooms are newly refurbished and the hotel features a bar, pool, quick-service restaurant, and shop. Choose this hotel if you don't want any bells or whistles and just want a comfy bed to sleep in with some Disney-theming scattered around the resort. Movies are my favourite of the three.
#4 - Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of the highest-priced resorts, and for good reason. It's absolutely stunning! It's home to Ohana and Kona Cafe, two excellent restaurants, as well as a quick-service location. It's also on the monorail loop so it's super easy getting to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. The rooms are newly refurbished and themed to Moana, and they look incredible. You even get a welcome lei when you check in!
#3 - Disney's Wilderness Lodge

If you like Disney Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris, you will love Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It's like Disney Sequoia Lodge but bigger and grander. The atmosphere of this resort is so nice and relaxing, and even though it's not on the monorail loop, it's close to Magic Kingdom.
#2 - Disney's Pop Century

Disney's Pop Century is our go-to Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It's fun, clean, and has everything we need. It's a value resort, like Disney's All-Star, but it's a step above. There's only one bus stop, a larger quick-service restaurant, and now hosts the Disney Skyliner for super fast access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
#1 - Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the most beautiful hotel I've stepped in, period. The rooms are newly refurbished with hints of The Lion King, and there's nothing like sitting on your balcony looking over the savannah. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge also hosts two phenomenal restaurants in Jiko and Boma. If you have the budget to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you won't regret it.
