When Does Disney Wonders Open At Disney Village

Disney Wonders opens its doors on Tuesday 22nd September 2026. Disney describes it as a "bright, contemporary boutique where the magic of storytelling surrounds you at every turn." The date confirms what we first covered when the concept was announced for summer 2026, with Disney now giving a firm opening day.

Whats Inside The New Disney Wonders Shop

The shop is split into four themed areas covering Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, each designed to feel like its own space rather than a single shop floor with everything grouped together. Disney says the aim is for "surprises making every visit feel like your first".

How Do The Chandeliers And Artwork Work At Disney Wonders

Two large chandeliers sit at the centre of the store, each displaying more than 40 pieces of illustrated artwork featuring Disney characters and locations. Original artwork also covers the outside of the building, so the theming starts before you've stepped through the door. Disneyland Paris is adding illustrations from Walt Disney Animation Studios at the tills, with some brought to life using a Tinker Bell effect.

What Did Disney Previously Announce About Disney Wonders

Disney first revealed the Disney Wonders concept in April 2025, describing a shop split into themed areas with chandeliers and façade artwork broadly in line with what's now confirmed. At that point Disney hadn't set a firm opening date, only pointing to summer 2026.

What Does The Disney Wonders Opening Mean For Your Disneyland Paris Trip

If you've got a Disneyland Paris trip booked for late September or October, Disney Wonders will be open when you arrive. Getting to Disney Village from the UK works either by air or by train. If you're taking the train, keep in mind there's no longer a direct Eurostar service to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy, so you'll travel from London St Pancras to Lille Europe and then pick up a connecting TGV to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy. Check Eurostar fares and times here.

A few things to plan around:

  • Disney Wonders opens 22nd September 2026, so it'll be running for any trip booked from late September onwards.
  • The shop replaces the previously named Disney Store.
  • Expect the range to change through the year, so a repeat visit later in 2026 may turn up different products than an early trip.
