Disneyland Paris Halloween Night 2026: Quick Navigation

What's Happening At Disneyland Paris On 31st October 2026?

Disneyland Paris is treating Halloween night as the big finale to this year's Disney Halloween Festival, which has been running at Disneyland Park since 26th September 2026 and wraps up on 1st November 2026. The late opening sits alongside the Halloween festivities in the park that have been running all festival.

Rather than a separately ticketed party, everyone with a valid dated ticket for 31st October gets the extra hours. Once dusk falls, parts of the park get noticeably spookier. Adventure Isle and Skull Rock are getting light shows and special effects, while Phantom Manor, the park's haunted house ride in Frontierland, adds projections, sound and visual effects along with some mysterious characters wandering about. Main Street, U.S.A. gets the same treatment, so you'll notice the change before you've even reached the castle.

Mickey's Halloween Celebration, the festival's character parade, runs along Parade Road at 5:25pm and 7pm. The later one is the better bet if you want to spend the afternoon on rides and still catch Mickey and friends in their Halloween outfits.

Which Disney Characters Can You Meet At Disneyland Paris On Halloween Night?

Mickey and Minnie lead the line-up for 31st October, joined by a mix of villains and spooky regulars. Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, Yzma and Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove and Jack Sparrow are all on the list, along with the Phantom and Melanie Ravenswood (the bride from Phantom Manor's story). These are surprise appearances from dusk, and some of the characters are joining for this one night only.

Character Land Where To Find Them
Mickey & Minnie Main Street, U.S.A. Town Square Gazebo selfie spot
Yzma & Kronk Adventureland Near Colonel Hathi's Outpost Restaurant
Jack Sparrow Adventureland Roaming near Pirates of the Caribbean
Oogie Boogie Frontierland Critter Corral
The Phantom or Melanie Ravenswood Frontierland Phantom Manor Gazebo

Character appearances can change or be cancelled without notice, and queues may close early when it's busy.

Disneyland Paris lists the Phantom or Melanie Ravenswood at the Phantom Manor Gazebo, so expect to meet one of them rather than both together. Check the Disneyland Paris app on the day for appearance times, and join the queue you care about most early, as Disneyland Paris can close character lines before the end of the evening if they get too long.

What Else Is On At Disneyland Park On Halloween Night?

Over in Frontierland, the Lucky Nugget Saloon has rebranded itself as the Unlucky Nugget Saloon for Halloween, which is a brave piece of marketing for a place that sells food.

The Mysterious M&M'S Doors is a treasure hunt across the park's lands, where you track down the hidden doors and complete the quest to earn a Halloween treat at the end. Full details are on the Disneyland Paris app. Separately, free chocolates from Disneyland Paris's official confectionery partner are handed out during the day while supplies last, so that one's for earlier in the day rather than after the fireworks.

The park's shops also have an exclusive range of Halloween merchandise, if you'd like a souvenir that isn't a sugar crash.

What Happens At The End Of Halloween Night At Disneyland Paris?

The evening ends with two shows back to back. First up is Disney Tales of Magic, the nightly castle spectacular. After that, Nightfall with Disney Villains takes over Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, with music, light projections and a grand fireworks display.

Nightfall with Disney Villains first appeared during the 2022 Halloween Festival, when it played before the main nighttime show. On 31st October 2026 it closes the night instead, so don't head for the exit when Disney Tales of Magic ends.

Can Adults Wear Costumes At Disneyland Paris On Halloween?

Yes. Adults can come to Disneyland Park in a Halloween-themed costume on 31st October 2026, which isn't normally allowed at Disneyland Paris. If you've been waiting for an excuse to wear your Tinker Bell costume in public, this is the day, although anyone dressed as a Disney Character has to agree not to pose for photos with other guests or sign autographs.

Disneyland Paris can refuse any costume at its discretion, including outfits that completely cover your face or head, and anything it considers shocking or unsuitable for younger guests. Accessories that could be dangerous on rides or to other guests are also out, with long capes, sticks and fake weapons given as examples. The usual park rules still apply on top of that.

  • No objects or toys that look like a firearm, including water guns and laser guns.
  • No masks for anyone aged 12 or over, unless worn for medical reasons.
  • No clothing that trails along the ground.

Security may inspect or scan costumes before entry and inside the park, especially multi-layered outfits that cover the whole body, so leave yourself extra time at the gates if you're going all out.

Do You Need A Special Ticket For Halloween At Disneyland Paris?

No. Everything happening on 31st October is included with a dated ticket valid for Disneyland Park that day. A 1-park ticket for Disney Adventure World, the park previously called Walt Disney Studios Park, won't get you into Disneyland Park for the evening.

The exception is the Liberté ticket. Liberté is Disneyland Paris's undated ticket, and it needs a park reservation before you visit. Disneyland Paris has confirmed Liberté tickets don't give access on 31st October 2026, so if you have one, you'll need to use it on another date.

This is the setup Disneyland Paris moved to after it scrapped its separately ticketed Halloween party in favour of extended opening hours. Over in Florida, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World runs on select nights up to 31st October 2026 and requires a separate ticket.
