Since COVID lockdowns housekeeping service at Walt Disney World Resort hotels were reduced to a trash and towel service to reduce contact and the service was slowly starting to ramp back up. Now, Disney has announced that the full housekeeping service will return to all Walt Disney World Resort hotels by the end of February, 2023. This will be daily in some resorts and every other day in others. Every other day will likely be for the value resorts, but they've not yet made that clear. Disney has said this includes the return of the "magic touches" that were present before (like finding your new Mickey ear hat on display or your Disney plushes posing playfully) will be making a comeback as well.
We've heard from many of you about how much you love and have missed the more regular housekeeping services we offered prior to the pandemic, and I'm excited to share that we've been ramping them back up across Walt Disney World Resort hotels! By the end of February, full housekeeping room cleanings will once again be available at all of our Resort hotel rooms, with services provided daily or every other day depending on where you are staying.
