Disney has confirmed that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios will reopen on 26th May 2026 with a full retheme centred on The Muppets. The ride, which previously featured Aerosmith, is being reimagined around The Electric Mayhem band - that's Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips, for the uninitiated.
The concept follows the band preparing for a major concert, only for the usual Muppet chaos to ensue. Guests are cast as VIP ticket holders trying to get the band across Hollywood in time to perform.
What's Changing
The ride vehicle is now called the L.I.M.O. (Lengthy Immediate Motion Object, which is exactly the kind of joke you'd expect from the Muppets), and the queue now runs through G-Force Records - described as a legendary Hollywood recording studio that's recently come under new management thanks to Scooter's uncle, property developer J.P. Grosse.

There's also a courtyard redesign, including the attraction's iconic guitar marquee, which has been given a psychedelic Muppet-style paint job.
Celebrity cameos are woven throughout the queue and merchandise area, with appearances from Awkwafina, Danny Trejo, Darren Criss, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, Wayne Brady, and "Weird Al" Yankovic.
The New Set List
The ride will cycle through five tracks, each potentially playing on a different ride experience. The confirmed set list is:
- Song 2 - The Electric Mayhem
- Born To Be Wild - The Electric Mayhem ft. Camilla the Chicken
- Love Rollercoaster - The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
- Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop) - The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
- Walking on Sunshine - The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson
