A new Disney Princess Cavalcade is coming to Disney Adventure World
From 24th July, Disney Adventure World - the newly renamed Walt Disney Studios park at Disneyland Paris - will be home to a brand-new street show: The Disney Princess Cavalcade. It stars Moana and Raya, features two original songs and includes an interactive section where guests can learn dance moves from the princesses themselves.
If you're planning a Disneyland Paris trip this summer, it's worth knowing about - and if you haven't booked yet, now's probably a good time to check availability. You can use the Disneyland Paris pricing calendar to find the cheapest dates, or go straight to book a transport, hotel and ticket package if you want it all sorted in one package.
Here's what we know so far.
Which princesses are in the cavalcade?
The cavalcade features four Disney Princesses, with the show built around the theme of community and belonging - which is an interesting creative angle rather than just the "wave and smile" approach we all enjoy. The four princesses are Moana, Raya, and two others still to be confirmed at the time of writing.
Moana and Raya are the clear focus. Both characters are defined by their determination to protect and reunite their communities - Moana setting sail to save the people of Motunui, Raya working to reassemble the Dragon Stone and bring the lands of Kumandra back together. According to the show's directors, the cavalcade leans into that shared purpose rather than just putting four princesses on floats and calling it a day.
What are the floats like?
Each princess has her own float tied to her world. Moana's represents the village of Motunui, while Raya's is themed around the Heart Palace from her film. The design team worked directly from the original animated films and the real-world cultural traditions they draw from - Pacific Island culture for Moana, Southeast Asian influence for Raya - to shape everything from the float designs to the costumes and choreography.
The choreography was developed in collaboration with Cécile Chaduteau, and the two directors - Matteo Borghi and Françoise Baffioni - have spoken about wanting the show to feel rooted rather than generic.

📅 Search Cheapest Disneyland Paris DatesWhere does the cavalcade go?
The cavalcade starts at the entrance to the future Lion King-themed area of Disney Adventure World and travels up Adventure Way to The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, before heading back to its starting point. On the return journey, the princesses stop for an interactive section with guests.
During that interactive section, Moana will teach moves drawn from traditional Pacific Islands dance, while Raya will demonstrate martial arts-inspired choreography. It's a nice touch - and means there's a reason to stick around for the return leg rather than just watching the outward pass and moving on.
What about the music?
Two original songs were written specifically for this cavalcade - one for the main procession and one for the interactive stops. They were composed by a group of songwriters including Chris Sernel, who previously wrote 'Ready for the Ride' (which was a huge hit) for Disneyland Paris's 30th anniversary celebrations.
When does it start - and will it definitely run?
The Disney Princess Cavalcade launches on 24th July 2025 at Disney Adventure World. Rehearsals were due to begin on-site shortly before that date.
As with all outdoor shows at Disneyland Paris, it's worth noting that performances can be modified, postponed or cancelled due to poor weather or technical issues. If the cavalcade is a specific reason you're visiting, build in some flexibility and check the entertainment schedule in the Disneyland Paris app on the day.
Planning a visit from the UK?
Disney Adventure World sits alongside Disneyland Park within Disneyland Paris. Disneyland Paris is easily accessible from the UK: Eurostar runs direct from London St Pancras to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy, which is right outside the park gates, with journey times of around two and a half hours. Alternatively, flights from most UK airports to Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly are typically an hour long.
For a full package - transport, hotel and park tickets bundled together - the Walt Disney Travel Company transport packages are worth a look, particularly if you're travelling by Eurostar and want accommodation on-site. If you'd rather mix and match, check the Disneyland Paris pricing calendar to find the dates where costs drop - summer school holiday weeks will be peak pricing, so if you have flexibility, the weeks immediately before or after the main break can offer better value.
