Disney's New Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan for 2027
Disney has unveiled a new tier of dining plan for Walt Disney World guests arriving from 2027 - the Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan. It sits above the existing Table-Service Dining Plan and is aimed at guests who want to spend more of their holiday at sit-down restaurants rather than grabbing a counter-service burger between rides.
Disney dining plans are pre-paid plans that bundle meals, snacks, and drinks into a credit allowance - the idea being that you pay upfront and then don't have to think too hard about what things cost when you're staring down a menu at Be Our Guest. Whether they actually save you money depends entirely on what you eat and how organised you are, but for guests who enjoy lots of character dining or signature restaurants, this new plan could be worth a look.

Per guest (aged 3 and over), per night of stay, the plan includes:
- 2 table-service meal credits
- 1 quick-service meal credit (with a non-alcoholic or alcoholic drink included per meal)
- 1 snack or drink credit
- A resort-refillable drink mug
The extra table-service credit is the headline here. The existing Table-Service Dining Plan gives you one sit-down meal per night - this one gives you two, which opens the door to using it for both lunch and dinner at proper restaurants without burning through your credits by day three if that's how you like to eat. It's also valid at character dining experiences and Disney's signature restaurants - some of which cost 2 table-service credits per visit.
Meals and snacks can be used at any point during your stay rather than having to use them on the day they're issued, which gives you a bit more flexibility to front-load or back-load your restaurant reservations. The plan is accepted at over 200 locations across Walt Disney World.
Disney Dining Plan Prices 2027
Here's how the three plans compare on price. All prices are per person, per night, in GBP:
- Quick-Service Dining Plan - 2 quick-service meals + drink, 1 snack, refillable mug - £47.99 adult / £19.99 child per night
- Table-Service Dining Plan - 1 table-service + 1 quick-service meal + drink, 1 snack, refillable mug - £76.99 adult / £24.99 child per night
- Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan - 2 table-service + 1 quick-service meal + drink, 1 snack, refillable mug - £124.99 adult / £35.99 child per night
The jump to the Deluxe plan is significant - around £48 per adult per night more than the standard Table-Service plan. For a family of two adults and two children on a seven-night trip, that difference adds up to roughly £588. Whether that stacks up depends on how often you're planning to eat at signature and character dining restaurants, which can cost upwards of £50-60 per head on their own.
Dining plans are added as part of a Walt Disney World package rather than booked separately - check the latest packages and prices direct with Disney here to see what's available for your dates.
Is the Deluxe Dining Plan Worth It for UK Guests?
It depends on your eating habits. UK guests booking Walt Disney World packages tend to stay for longer than the average American visitor - and you have to purchase a dining plan for your entire stay, not just part of it. So you need to be confident you'll use all those credits throughout your trip. The Deluxe plan often makes more sense if you're planning to eat regularly at places like Cinderella's Royal Table or other signature restaurants around the parks. Two table-service credits per night at those kinds of venues adds up quickly, and using the plan can smooth out the per-meal cost considerably.
If your plan involves a lot of quick-service meals and the odd sit-down dinner, the standard Table-Service or Quick-Service plans will likely suit you better - and save you a reasonable amount of money in the process.
One thing worth factoring in as a UK visitor: tipping is customary in the US, and Walt Disney World is no exception. Table-service restaurants will expect a tip - typically around 18% for good service - which is not included in the dining plan and can add up quickly if you are using two table-service credits a night. Quick-service meals do not carry the same expectation. See our Walt Disney World Tipping Guide for a full breakdown of when, how much, and who to tip.
