Disney Fairy Tale weddings shut down along with the closure of the parks earlier in the year. When the packs opened back up with strict social distancing rules, Walt Disney World weddings could not go ahead in their current form. Disney has announced the Fairy Tale Weddings team has been working diligently with their health and safety team, looking at their experiences in detail so couples and wedding guests can celebrate in a magical and safe way. While it is going to be a scaled down experience with face coverings required, some couples are for sure not going to mind and want their Disney wedding as soon as they can.
These measures include face coverings, which will be required for all guests and members of the wedding party. During the ceremony, the couple may be able to remove their face coverings for a limited period of time, while proper physical distancing can be maintained. Our events will also include measures to promote physical distancing among guests and cast members. Upcoming weddings will have limited guest counts, and we are working with our couples to find creative ways to set their ceremonies, receptions and more.
