For the foreseeable future, the Walt Disney World Railroad will now only travel backwards and forwards between the Main Street, U.S.A. station and the Fantasyland (Storybook Circus) station. Following the permanent closure of the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, the track will be blocked by the construction of the new Cars-themed land.

To make way for the largest expansion in history at Magic Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Railroad is operating under a modified route that excludes Frontierland. The attraction will operate as a shuttle between Main Street station and Fantasyland station only.

As you can see below and in your My Disney Experience app park map, the track has been removed west of Main Street, U.S.A., to show guests that the route only goes east up to the Fantasyland (Storybook Circus) station.
