Disneyland Paris fan favourite cast member Raphael is featured in a new viral video (below) which is attracting varying opinions this morning. What's fascinating about this clip, is I had to watch it twice. The first time I watched it, I was like "Wow! What is that cast member doing ruining that moment!?" On a following viewing, I noticed where the guests were. At Disneyland Paris, up near the castle, they've setup these temporary stages where cast members perform the "Dream...and Shine Brighter!" show. One guest took his girlfriend onto one of these stages - which would be breaking park rules - to perform a proposal. A cast member comes running through the middle of them and escorts them off the stage area. The guests said they asked for permission, which I find peculiar because out of bounds areas are out of bounds for a reason. However, if they were granted permission, this cast member didn't get the memo.

Update: Disney has offered an apology for how the situation was handled.
