Disney Holidays has updated the Disneyland Paris booking website to make off-site hotel options more visible. Disney Holidays is the official way to book Disneyland Paris direct with Disney, alongside DisneylandParis.com (you can find out the differences in our DisneyHolidays.co.uk or DisneylandParis.com - Who To Book Disneyland Paris With? article). There are now two tabs at the top of the search results - "Disney Hotels" and "Nearby Hotels" - which makes it easier to compare staying on-site against the more affordable alternatives without having to go hunting elsewhere.

What Are Nearby Hotels at Disneyland Paris?

The "Nearby Hotels" tab splits into two categories: Partner Hotels and Selected Hotels. Disney doesn't spell out exactly what separates one from the other, but the distinction seems to be loosely tied to proximity and perhaps the level of relationship Disney has with each property.

Partner Hotels

These sit closest to the parks and are bookable as part of a package direct through Disney Holidays. Currently listed as Partner Hotels:

  • Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne-La-Vallée
  • Aparthotel Adagio Val d'Europe
  • Hôtel l'Elysée Val d'Europe
  • B&B Hotel
  • Ki Space Hotel & Spa

Selected Hotels

  • Explorers Hotel (Fabulous Hotels Group)
  • Campanile Val de France

What Do Nearby Hotels Include?

All nearby hotels - both Partner and Selected - come with a free shuttle service to and from the parks, which is worth knowing if you're trying to keep things simple without a hire car.

What you don't get is Extra Magic Time - Disney's early park entry benefit that lets you into the parks before they open to day visitors. That perk is exclusive to guests staying at Disney Hotels and Les Villages Nature Paris. If rope drop (getting to the parks first thing when they open) is part of your strategy for beating the queues, that's worth factoring in.

Are Park Tickets Included with Nearby Hotels?

Yes, tickets are included - but not for your full stay, which is where it gets a bit more complicated than the on-site equivalent.

When you book a Disney Hotel package, your ticket covers every day of your stay including check-in and check-out day. With the nearby hotels, the number of included ticket days depends on how long you're staying:

  • 2-night stay - includes a 2-day ticket
  • 3-night stay - includes a 2-day ticket
  • 4-night stay - includes a 3-day ticket
  • 5-night stay - includes a 4-day ticket

To compare, if you stay at a Disneyland Paris hotel you'll receive:

  • 2-night stay - includes a 3-day ticket
  • 3-night stay - includes a 4-day ticket
  • 4-night stay - includes a 5-day ticket
  • 5-night stay - includes a 6-day ticket

You can pay to upgrade to more park days, so it's not a dealbreaker - and the numbers can still work out in your favour even after topping up. As a rough example: a 3-night stay at Disney's Hotel Santa Fe with a 4-day park ticket comes to around £1,162.76. The same 3 nights at Campanile Val de France comes in at around £853 with the included 2-day ticket - and even after upgrading to a 4-day ticket to match, the total comes to around £1,143.75. While still only £20 cheaper than Santa Fe, which sits at the more affordable end of the Disney Hotel range, the saving could be considerably larger if you're comparing against a pricier on-site option.

The trade-off is losing Extra Magic Time, so it comes down to whether early park access is worth the premium for your trip. You'll also not be, you know, staying at a Disney hotel - which is a dealbreaker for a lot of people.

Use the Disneyland Paris pricing calendar to find the cheapest dates for your trip, then search Disney Holidays to compare both tabs side by side to see which works out better value for your specific dates and group size.
